Grey skies are gonna clear up 🎶... in a month or two! Until then, remember that most plants feel the same about overcast weather as humans. It gets old, FAST. Here are a couple quick tips to keep your plants happy when the sun isn't quite doing it's job 🌥
Find a window, STAT - plants that normally tolerate a spot farther away from a window might start to show SAD (seasonal affective disorder) signs during prolonged periods of overcast weather. Try moving them to a spot closer to a window for a few days and let them soak in a couple extra UV rays during daylight.
Get a grow light - An effective option for spaces that have limited window space, or if you're not willing to temporarily rearrange your collection.
Water less - As the sun retreats and doesn't have as much face time with our plants, they'll consume less water. Decrease your watering during winter months and always check the soil's moisture level first.
